The Clue Me team proposed an optimized flex office layout, enabling Cardiologs to support its growth without relocating in Paris. The redesigned open space includes small work pods for 4 or 6 people, creating cocoon-like areas for project-based teams (AI software development, cardiology data scientists, product teams). This pod-based configuration encourages close collaboration among members of the same project team while preserving a degree of privacy and focus. By optimizing wasted space (corridors, corners, technical areas), around twenty additional workstations were added within the same m². “We were able to welcome 10 people at the end of the year and we’re expecting 10 new people at the beginning of 2021. This fit-out created more workstations,” says Cardiologs’ management. The hybrid remote-work/flex office organization further optimizes usage: not all employees are present at the same time, maximizing the use of available desks. Spatial intelligence that allows the healthtech start-up to grow confidently without prohibitive real-estate costs in Paris.
Beyond space optimization, Clue Me created much-appreciated breakout areas and informal meeting spaces that didn’t previously exist at Cardiologs. These spaces are essential, especially when the workforce is made up of millennials who value quality of work life and well-being. In this beautiful Paris location, Clue Me created a cosy, home-like atmosphere through the warm use of wood (furniture, finishes, partitions) and added a touch of color to energize the whole (vibrant accents contrasting with soothing natural tones). Planting completes this welcoming, healthy atmosphere, particularly appreciated in the healthcare sector. The result is spectacular: Cardiologs teams are happy with this colorful, plant-filled change, and the healthtech start-up has managed to support its growth without relocating! Team cohesion is strengthened thanks to convivial spaces that encourage informal exchanges among colleagues in a hybrid remote-work setup.
