Responsible Office Design
CSR Commitment & sustainable office design
At Clue Me, we are convinced that an office design project can be beautiful, functional, and responsible at the same time. We integrate a concrete CSR approach at every stage: choice of materials, eco-sourced furniture, construction waste management, and committed local partners.

Our CSR Approach to Office Design
3 commitments for responsible and sustainable offices
1
What is CSR design?
An approach that integrates environmental issues right from the design stage: eco-sourced materials, reconditioned furniture, reduction of construction waste, and short supply chains.
2
Our Responsible Approach
3
Why design your offices sustainably?
Responsible offices improve quality of life at work, strengthen your employer brand, and meet the growing expectations of your employees and partners.
1
Responsible Furniture and Materials
Because producing and throwing away pollutes, let’s change our habits.
The ecological impact of the furniture industry and raw material processing is enormous: deforestation, energy-intensive manufacturing, use of polluting materials, goods transport, waste management… So, let’s not wait any longer to push the boundaries and start implementing responsible office design!
Characteristics of ecological furniture and floor/wall coverings: When seeking to reduce the ecological footprint of an industry or activity, every single action counts. Qualifying a piece of furniture or a material as “responsible” or “ecological” means meeting one or more of the following characteristics:
Manufacturing that is as local as possible to reduce transport costs and support the local economy
Use of non-polluting products to limit the spread of toxic substances in the air (VOCs – volatile organic compounds)
Promotion of artisanal craftsmanship to slow down the hyper-industrialization of our economies
- An extended lifespan to put an end to premature disposal
increasing the mass of waste

2
Our CSR approach to office design
Talk is good. Action is better! Here is specifically how, at Clue Me, we help you design your offices in an ethical and responsible manner.
Working with Short Supply Chains
We prioritize local sourcing from suppliers in:
- France,
- Western Europe (Italy, Germany, Netherlands),
- and for those further away, Lithuania.
Opting for Recycled Furniture and Materials
We do not hesitate to offer you furniture made using recycled products or materials:
- plastic waste is transformed into solid sheets used as robust coverings for office desktops, for example;
- textile waste is repurposed and becomes designer table legs or shelves;
- recycled steel and aluminum, old wood from deconstruction, or even recycled fabrics and foams become durable and comfortable chairs, desks, or sofas;
- obsolete flooring such as carpets are reused to create the underlay for new carpets in a closed-loop recycling circuit.
Prioritizing "Home Made"
We offer meeting tables or chairs that showcase craftsmanship and traditional skills through creations that are:
- unique,
- fighting against deforestation,
- highlighting and honoring “Made in France.”
Adopting Reconditioned Items
Finally, we are proud to count among our partners actors committed to eco-responsibility and the circular economy, through:
- 100% “second-hand” productions: unique pieces that tell a story and stand the test of time (chairs, tables, lounge areas…),
- the reuse of furniture that is less expensive (between 20% and 30% cheaper) and immediately available in large quantities (chairs, desktops, meeting tables…).
Both trendy and responsible, designing your offices with a conscious, sustainable, and ethical perspective is close to our hearts.
3
Why choose CSR office design?
At Clue Me, we are in daily contact with business leaders who care about the environment and who already incorporate CSR into their activities. However, many are still unaware of the benefits of responsible furniture and materials (carpet, paint, parquet, PVC flooring…) when it comes to designing or redesigning their premises. So, here are 3 additional arguments to complement your ecological commitments.
A New Gesture for the Planet
As mentioned above, office furniture and materials are costly for the environment, especially when produced industrially on the other side of the world. By choosing to equip yourself with CSR furniture, you help limit greenhouse gas emissions and make a new gesture for the planet without changing your employees’ working habits.

Enhanced Attractiveness
Taking environmental issues into account has become essential in corporate life:
- For clients: initiatives taken in favor of ecology are viewed positively and can make the difference against a competitor less concerned about their environmental impact;
- For employees: younger generations consider criteria related to their future company’s CSR policy as a factor for fulfillment and well-being at work; they more readily decline job offers from companies with little commitment to these issues;
- For investors: they are more than sensitive to the implementation of a CSR approach within a company in which they plan to invest. For many, it is even a prerequisite!
Significant Savings
Investing in recycled or locally purchased equipment also means saving money! Indeed, the quality of materials used in sustainable furniture often guarantees a longer lifespan than a standard product. They are also more durable and easier to repair. To summarize, you consume less AND better.

Your questions, our answers
An office fit-out project takes between 2 and 6 months depending on the scope (simple reorganization or heavy renovation with works). Clue Me establishes a detailed schedule from the start and commits to the deadlines.
Depending on the scale of the work, yes. We regularly organize projects in phases to allow our clients to maintain their activity. We plan a phasing adapted to your operational constraints from the start of the project.
The budget depends on the surface area, the existing condition, and the desired level of finish. On average, expect between €400 and €1,200 excl. VAT/m² for a complete fit-out (works + furniture). We provide a detailed and transparent quote from the study phase.
We work on surface areas from 200 m² to over 10,000 m², mainly in Paris and Île-de-France. Whether it’s an office floor, a complete headquarters, or a coworking space, we adapt our methodology to the scale of the project.
Yes, we offer:
- A two-year warranty covering installation defects (partner law).
