Faced with the challenge of optimizing 3,000 m² down to 270 m² in Paris for Amue’s 37 employees, Clue Me deployed a structured change management methodology. Our interior designers and expert change management consultants (specialists in new cultural, managerial, and organizational strategies for transitioning to flex office) organized participatory workshops with Amue teams to understand the specific human and business needs of the university pooling agency, open minds to hybrid spaces and new uses of reasoned flex office, co-create new workspaces collaboratively to encourage ownership, and define the desired atmosphere and visual identity reflecting Amue’s culture. This participatory approach transformed a major real estate constraint (91% surface reduction) into an opportunity to improve QVT and work practices, while managing the emotional attachment to the historic site occupied for 25 years. Essential human support to succeed in this radical transformation.
Within the 270 m² optimized in Paris, Clue Me created a variety of spaces tailored to the 37 employees: dynamic collaborative spaces encouraging exchanges between the university agency’s teams, quiet zones for focused individual work, privacy bubbles for 1, 2, and even 7 people (extraordinary because, without the right to perform major construction, we still created a fully enclosed and acoustically isolated 7-person meeting room), open-plan desks isolated by acoustic panels on three sides for HR and legal departments requiring confidentiality, large IT benches for the tech department and their multiple screens, and a social area with individual lockers, lounge sofas, a coffee station, and a collaborative table. The result: an optimization from 3,000 m² to 270 m² while upgrading spaces, services, and comfort. The QVT of Amue employees is preserved or even improved. “What a success!” concludes the management. For Clue Me, combining a transition to reasoned flex office with human support for a public agency in the higher education sector is a double success.
